Caribbean Airlines (www.caribbean-airlines.com) launches flights between Piarco (Port of Spain) and Crown Point (Tobago). In peak season (especially in the carnival), are often heavily booked.

There are no railway lines.

Services are executed by the state Public Transport Corporation (PTSC) (tel: 623 7872, Website: www.ptsc.co.tt). Buses are cheap but crowded and unreliable. In Tobago, there are regular bus connections between the bus station and the Scarborough Crown Point, Buccoo, Plymouth and Roxborough.

Driving on the left. The road network in Trinidad between major cities is good, but traffic around Port of Spain can be difficult at peak hours. Two main roads lead to the north-south and east-west. The rest of the road can be very difficult to find and prone to bad weather conditions. Trinidad: 80kph (50 mph) on motorways and 55kph (34 mph) in built-up areas

Tobago: 50kph (31 mph).
